My poems are simple and from the heart. Most of them were written during rough patches when it was hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I AM

My God is a God of many names
Wondrous in all of His ways
Some wonder why He is my everything
It’s His overwhelming love and peace that is the wind beneath my wings!
The Great I Am whispers in my ear
I Am your Healer, Jehovah Rapha, and I hear your prayers and see your every tear
I Am your provider, Jehovah Jireh, so that you will never have to fear
My child, everything I do is an attempt to draw you near
The Creator of the Heavens and the Earth sits me on His knee and all my cares seem to fade
I Am your Father, from the day I knit you in your mothers womb I’ve always said you were fearfully and wonderfully made
I Am the God of Peace, Jehovah Shalom, I will take all your burdens away
I Am your Shepherd, Jehovah Roi, and I will go after every child who may stray
I Am the Lord of Hosts and I will protect you each and every day
I Am the Lord who sanctifies and by my Son’s blood I have wiped all your sins away
I Am who I Am and I am in love with you
Draw near to me I will make you new!
Passionate Storm

The storm within begins to grow
The winds of change are ready to blow
I can feel the tension rising,
As the pages of my mind race in their surmising
What is to come of this destiny of mine
Is it something I can search for and find
Or will I take all the wrong turns
And feel all the painful burns
It seems to be both, mistakes are how we learn
Uncertainty will linger but ultimately God always has me under his finger
I can’t sit, can’t walk or jog but must run to Him, I will live my life in a sprint
Searching for release
A destiny found, lightning strikes and this storm feels peace
So much energy, passion released, fire no man can cease
Passion, truth and love spreading so fast, covering the earth it will be so vast.
